Solution: Solar panels

Our DEKASEAL 1512 is the ideal solution for mounting solar panels. DEKASEAL 1512 is applied as a sealant between the roof tile/roof covering and the solar panel holders. If there are any screw holes, the material can be applied as a sealant in the holes. No pre-treatment is required for this, making it easy to apply.

The plastic-elastic butyl-based sealant, which is free from aromatic solvents, forms a dry skin after application and can then be painted over. The UV resistance and good ageing resistance are a major advantage for the optimal installation of solar panels.

DEKASYL MS-5 is suitable for the direct attachment of solar panels to the roof covering, without screwing.

Solution: Glass bonding

DEKASYL MS-8 is a reliable partner for the installation of bonded windows and skylights. The high-modulus MS polymer-based window adhesive has a very high adhesion strength, allowing clamping times to be reduced or jamming to be completely eliminated. DEKASYL MS-8 guarantees very good adhesion to ceramic screen prints and glass without primer, as well as to freshly cut PU and MS residual beads.

If the windows and roof hatches have been screwed together, we recommend DEKASEAL 1512 to seal the screw holes.

Solution: Sanitary rooms

Sanitary rooms in tiny houses are exposed to high humidity and other demanding requirements. It is therefore important to use high-quality and optimised products. In contrast to silicone, our DEKASYL MS-6 offers an adhesive and sealant that can be touched up with excellent adhesion (without special pre-treatment) to many materials. It can also be used on replacement parts such as painted side panels, plastic parts and metals. Due to its high elasticity and low hardness, applications are mainly in the sealing area. However, DEKASYL MS-6 can also be used for bonding applications, provided that high force transmission is not required. Its mould resistance properties also make it a suitable product for sanitary facilities.

Solution: Joint sealant

DEKASYL MS-5 is the ideal adhesive and sealant for the reliable sealing of kitchen worktops and skirting boards, for example. Thanks to its high adhesive strength and initial strength, clamping times can be reduced or even completely avoided, enabling fast and efficient processing. The environmentally friendly and odourless MS Polymer is resistant to UV radiation and ageing, remains permanently elastic at temperatures from -40°C to +120°C and can also be easily painted over. Whether in the kitchen, bathroom or hallway – DEKASYL MS-5 offers a durable and aesthetically pleasing solution for your waterproofing projects.
